Technically, if you are an adjunct faculty, or maybe even a graduate-student teaching assistant, and you teach, or research/work a certain number of hours over a couple of terms per year, plus keep office hours, you could be eligible for employer-mandated health coverage under the Affordable Care Act, but adjuncts could also be limited to how many hours they can work (

Limits to how much teaching one adjunct can do per year misses the point of higher education.
